Q: What are the hours of operation?
A: Thursday – Monday from 4:00 – 7:30pm.
Q: What does the name “Takumi-Tei” mean?
A: Takumi-tei means “house of the artisan” in Japanese.
Q: Where is the restaurant located?
A: The restaurant is in the Japan Pavilion in EPCOT, next to the merchandise store building.

Q: Can I use a discount at this location?
A: Yes, we accept the following discounts: AP & DVC (10%) during all operation hours. Holiday block out dates apply.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: If you cancel within 48 hours of your reservation, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $100 per person.
Menu Related
Q: Do you have gluten free/allergy-friendly menu options available?
A: Yes, we have limited menu options available depending on your dietary needs.
Q: Do you have vegetarian/vegan menu options available?
A: Yes, Hasu is a plant-based course.
Q: Can I order a halal/kosher meal?
A: We are unable to accommodate requests for halal and kosher meals at this time.
Experience Related
Q: Can I choose which dining room to sit in?
A: We are unable to guarantee seating in a specific dining room; however, guests may indicate a preference when they make a reservation. (Rooms that may be requested: Wood, Earth, Washi, Stone).
Q: How long is the dining experience?
A: We ask that guests should allow up to 180 minutes to fully enjoy their dining experience.
Q: I am celebrating a birthday/anniversary/etc. during my visit.
A: We offer a complementary drink to celebrate your special occasion.
Q: Do you offer customizable cakes?
A: No, we do not offer customizable cakes at this time.
Q: Is there a place to watch fireworks in this restaurant?
A: No, there is no fireworks view from the restaurant.
Q: Do you have a dress code?
A: This restaurant is a Disney Signature Dining experience offering fine dining with a distinctly magical flair. Guests are expected to dress accordingly in attire that adheres to the restaurant’s sophisticated and upscale aesthetic. Clothing should be clean, neat and in good condition. Please no swimwear.

Q: Do you have ECV/wheelchair parking?
A: ECV parking is available underneath the stairs near the merchandise store main entrance.
Q: Can I bring my ECV/wheelchair into the restaurant?
A: Yes, you may bring it into the restaurant but please be aware that it is very tight quarters.
Q: Are service animals allowed in the restaurant?
A: Yes, service animals are allowed.
Guests with Children
Q: Are children allowed?
A: Guests ages 8 and above are invited to dine at Takumi-Tei.
Q: Is there a children’s menu?
A: Yes, there is a children’s menu available. The children’s course includes an appetizer, sushi, entrée, soba noodle and dessert and is $100.00. Entrée options include wagyu steak, roast chicken, seasonal fish, lobster tempura.

- Large party is 9 or more guests.
- Maximum restaurant capacity is 102 seated guests. (Legal occupancy is 404, including working staff).
